Employees![]() Carl Adams and Nathan Young are both Cerified Solar PV installers and Carl Adams is a Solar Thermal installer Carl Adams-President of SunRock Solar, InstallerCarl started the company in 2006 because he was looking for something that was more involved environmentally but that satisfied his engineering curiosity. Before SunRock, Carl was a systems engineer in the software industry for 25 years. He has a B.S. degree from Wright State University. He has received certifications in both PV Installation and a Solar Thermal Installation from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). He has taught numerous classes on sustainable energy including one at the Forfar Field Station in the Bahamas. While he was working and teaching there, he kept this blog.
Nathan Young-Project Manager, InstallerNathan started in construction when he was 16 and has more than 10 years of experience under his belt. Before joining the SunRock team, he worked for an engineering firm designing plumbing and mechanical systems and securing permits for clients in Hawaii and Florida. He has an B.S. in Construction Management from Northern Kentucky University. He has a Renewable Energy Certificate and an associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Cincinnati State. He is also a NABCEP Certified PV Installer.
Beth Martinson-Office Manager Beth has a background in the sciences and environmental issues. She has worked for the U.S. EPA testing water samples for contaminants, and as an administrative assistant for the Ohio River Foundation. She handles all the office duties including filing all the paperwork with the various agencies so our customers can get their grant money and SRECs. She tries to "Go Green" as much as possible. |
